The investigation into the tragic shooting of conservative commentator Charlie Kirk has intensified as the FBI

released new surveillance photos of a man believed to be connected to the attack.

The images show a figure dressed in dark clothing, sunglasses, and a

black backpack, captured from multiple angles inside a campus building at Utah Valley University (UVU), where the incident occurred.

Authorities have appealed to the public for help, offering a $100,000 reward for tips leading to the identification and capture of the suspect.

The FBI’s Salt Lake City Field Office reported that investigators recovered what is believed to be the weapon used in the attack—a

high-powered rifle found in a wooded area near where the suspect was last seen fleeing.

Along with the firearm, forensic evidence including a palm print and footwear impressions has been collected and is undergoing analysis.

Officials have already received over 130 tips and stress that even small pieces of information could prove critical.

Witnesses described chaotic scenes as a crowd of roughly 3,000 erupted in panic after a single shot struck Kirk while he was speaking on stage.

Many attendees initially thought the noise was part of the event.
